Specifically designed for homes with pets, Dyson's DC28 Animal vacuum cleaner features Root Cyclone technology to ensure thorough, efficient cleaning with no clogging or loss of suction. Additionally, it includes Airmuscle technology, which uses three Dyson-engineered components--a pneumatic actuator, a powered cam and a high-torque clutch--each precisely adjusting to clean every floor type thoroughly. Certified asthma and allergy friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, the unit expels air that contains up to 150 times less mold and bacteria than common breathing air thanks to the vacuum's money-saving, lifetime washable HEPA filter. The mini turbine head cleans pet hair and dirt from tight spaces such as upholstery, stairs and the car. It includes fingertip controls that automatically adjust (or de-activate) the brush bar for different floor types using a powered cam. The vacuum also comes equipped with a quick-draw Telescope reach; the wand releases and expands 16-feet at the touch of a button for stairs and high-reach cleaning.
